This company hides from their problems instead of facing up to them like a professional, trustworthy company that stands behind their work. Do NOT hire them. If you have an issue with them, they will run and hide and you will have lost your money.
Unfortunately, Samsung recommended we call Diversified Electronics to fix a leak in our 3 year old Samsung refrigerator. The repair guy who claims he's the manager looked for 10 min or so and claimed we had a water line in the back of the fridge that froze and he could fix it for $80 service fee + $45 labor + tax. He worked for 20 minutes on it and we wrote him a check for $135. 3 weeks later, we notice water leaking into our fridge again. He comes back out and claims the same thing and "fixes" it again...except we didnt have to pay this time....pretty nice, except for 4 weeks later the water is back in the fridge. He was strangely unapologetic and came back out a 3rd time in 8 wks and claims it needs $60 in parts and another $80 service fee. We're going with Chattanooga appliance this time. I wouldn't recommend Diversified Electronics.
We had a ge washer that was dead. And diversified electronics fixed it within a timely manner and the cost was a lot cheaper than a new washer. I would recommend them to everyone.
Not an honest company they charged close to 90 dollars to do a diagnostic on my refrigerator and didn't even bring any tools just showed up looked it said I think this is your problem it will be 400 to fix but I can't do it I have to have someone else come out
Diversified Electronics is a shady company. They charged me $356.51 to fix my fridge because they said I needed a new motherboard. It still would not work with the new motherboard. So they charged me for a part I did not need and for an installation that I did not need - only to tell me that I had a sealed system and they couldn't fix the problem. When I called them to see if they could refund part of my money, they said the manager would get back to me. Then they never called me back and then blocked my calls so they wouldn't have to deal with a dissatisfied client.
My experience with Diversified Electronics started on a good note and ended on a horrible one. Samsung sent them out as a certified repair company to diagnose and fix my dryer, which they accomplished. In the process of completing the repair they broke a plastic part off of the control panel causing a rattle during operation and did not properly re-assemble the dryer. When confronted with these issues they blamed the damage on the previous repair company. Not a honest company to work with,
